Matsumoto Kikai (MAC) Tungsten Electrode Grinder Tantogi TA-60XW Diamond Disc
■Matsumoto Kikai's "Tantogi TA-60XW" is a 2-in-1 multi-function machine that can perform both "grinding (tip angle)" and "cutting (fixed length)" of tungsten electrode rods with a single unit.
■The biggest difference from "Tatetogi (TTA-60C)" is the inclusion of a "cutting function".
1. Two Functions in One Unit (Grinding + Cutting)
Not only can you sharpen the tip, but you can also cut electrode rods to a specified length. It is particularly useful in environments where electrode length management is critical, such as with automatic welding machines and robot welding.
2. High-Quality Cutting
While cutting with pliers often leads to "cracks" in the electrode, this unit uses a diamond wheel for cutting, resulting in a clean cross-section and stable arc.
3. Economical and Safe
Similar to Tatetogi, its sealed design prevents dust from scattering, making it easier to reuse even short electrodes.
This is a higher-end model equipped with a cutting function, designed for sites requiring more advanced management (e.g., automatic machines, robots).
■Features
●Economical Table Slide System!
Since the table slides, most of the diamond disc surface can be utilized, making it highly economical. It is also easy to use, allowing for effortless one-handed grinding.
●Grinds down to a minimum of 20mm!
By utilizing the built-in gauge, electrodes can be ground efficiently down to a minimum length of 20mm. It is also ideal for ultra-small torches.
●Excellent Cooling Effect for Long Lifespan!
Adopting a unique cooling system, it successfully dissipates heat from the grinding area. This prevents burning and eliminates concerns about the grinding tip chipping.
●Accurate Grinding Angle with No Core Misalignment!
Grinding angles of 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 105°, and 120° can be selected and accurately reproduced. Furthermore, there is almost no effect of core misalignment due to electrode bending, and it can also be used for plasma torches.
●User-Friendly Design Emphasizing Operability and Safety!
The grinding disc can be easily replaced without tools.Additionally, the transparent protective cover allows for safe monitoring of the polishing status.
*When polishing tungsten with a diameter of 3.2mm or more, pre-grinding it roughly with a grinder or similar will reduce disk wear and shorten polishing time.
*If the tungsten itself has a significant bend, it may cause misalignment.
*The number of items that can be polished will decrease if you increase the pressing pressure onto the table surface.
