Suehiro Round Blade Whetstone for Maru Nomi & Carving Knives

For round chisels (marunomi). It has a taper, allowing it to accommodate various sizes.
It has evolved into a non-absorbent type that is less prone to wear.
Includes an eraser for removing dirt.

The whetstone with a taper can sharpen various sizes of round blades to match the curvature from round chisels to carving knives. Additionally, since both sides of the whetstone can be used, it can sharpen blades with edges on either the inside or outside of the curve.
Sharpen in the order of coarse whetstone (#240), medium whetstone (#1000), and finishing whetstone (#4000). If there are no chips or nicks in the blade, using only the medium to finishing stones is sufficient.
It has evolved from the absorbent type to one that can be sharpened with just a small amount of water. You can smoothly sharpen it by simply applying a little water before use. While maintaining a smooth sharpening feel, it has been made less prone to wear than before.
