The surface coating of white joints is hot-dip galvanized.
e-white fittings use the highest purity electrolytic zinc and, without adding any lead, apply "e-plating" (Patent Nos. 4163232 and 4020409) equivalent to conventional plating to the fitting surface.
The chemical composition of the zinc bath used in "e-plating" is 97.5% or more zinc, which complies with the zinc bath composition specified in JIS H 8641.
In addition, the chemical composition is less than 0.001% (10ppm) cadmium and less than 0.005% (50ppm) lead, so it is in full compliance with the RoHS directive.
