1. Set the shade level to GRIND or CUT, and press the + and - buttons simultaneously to make the TAP LED indicator blink, activating the tap function.

2. Lightly tap the welding shield 3 times.

3. You can switch from the selected GRIND or CUT to the selected shade level.
4. By lightly tapping the welding shield three times again, you can switch to the selected GRIND or CUT.
